COLLEGE OF EDUCATION KATSINA-ALA SHUT DOWN BY PROTESTING STUDENTS


Students of the College Of Education Katsina Ala Benue state have shot down activities at the school, as rampaging students who are protesting the over 100% increase in their tuition fees lock-up all the school gates and blocked all major streets in the town.



The school fees was said to have been increased from N20,000 to over N40,000 .

The situation is however now under control following the intervention of the deputy provost academics Mr. D. Hindi. He pledged to convey their message to the provost Prof O.N. Nder and the students were instructed to report on campus tomorrow for the provost's speech.
