I OWE GOD AND SUPPORTERS A DEBT OF GRATITUDE - ORTOM

The former Minister of State, Industry, Trade, and Investment, Chief Dr Samuel Ortom, has expressed appreciation to God almighty for His grace which enabled him to contest the governorship primaries on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Chief Dr Ortom acknowledged what he described as the enormous spiritual, financial, and material investment of supporters across the state and beyond stressing that he owed God and all of them an eternal debt of gratitude.

He thanked the leadership of the party and members for availing him the opportunity to express his aspiration as well as fellow aspirants for the esprit de corps with which they all pursued their aspiration.

The former Minister also appreciated major stakeholders including party chieftains, traditional rulers, prominent sons and daughters of the state, women and youths, the clergy and laity, as well as organizations and groups for their warm reception during consultative visits.

Chief Dr Ortom expressed gratitude to his entire campaign organization from the ward, local government, and state levels as well as members of the press for the support and positive publicity he has enjoyed.

The former Minister said the Bible enjoined Christians to give thanks in everything since all things work together for good for those who are called according to God's purpose.
He appealed to his supporters to remain calm while awaiting further information.
