#PDP Crisis: National Chairman, Ahmed Adamu Muazu Resign

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  national chairman, Ahmed Adamu Muazu, surrendered to pressure and resigned.

Deputy national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, has taken charge as as the party’s acting national chairman pending the election of a substantive chairman.

Muazu who has been in the  ‎United Kingdom for treatment over an undisclosed ailment sent in his resignation letter in the early hours of Thursday.

The National Working Committee (NWC) which confirmed the resignation of ‎Muazu after its emergency meeting yesterday also disclosed through the PDP national publicity secretary, Olisa Metuh, that the party leadership was already shopping for Muazu’s replacement within the North east zone.
