Civil Servants In #Benue To Get Cars At Friendly Payment Terms

Governor Samuel Ortom disclosed that his administration was making arrangements with two vehicle manufacturers to provide cars to senior civil servants in the state on friendly payment terms.

He made the disclosure when executives of the Magistrate Association of Nigeria in Benue State led by its Chairperson, Mrs.Cecilia Bakare visited him.

Governor Ortom urged members of the association to make sacrifices to decongest the prisons by treating cases before them with dispatch promising that his administration would take steps to cater for their welfare.

He said he had approved the payment of their robe allowances which would be effected as soon as funds were available.

Mrs. Bakare had advocated an upward review of robe allowances, emoluments and other welfare packages to enable members square up with their colleagues in other states of the federation and also perform optimally.
