David Mark Ought to Have Bow When the Ovation Was Loudest

Comrade Daniel Onjeh told the crowd of his supporters on the 19th Dec. 2015 at the Otukpo Muslim Praying Ground that the embattled Senator David Mark ought to have bow out when the ovation was loudest.

The APC flag bearer for the Benue South district senatorial rerun election between him and the former Senate President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Senator David Mark of the PDP, which is slated for February 2016 has said the cancellation of the March 28th senatorial election is a victory for the Idoma people and a genuine democracy.

Hence he said the rerun which would favour him to victory as Mark has never won any election credibly without malpractices; that the victory would be the hope of the Idoma Kingdom whose livelihoods has been ravaged politically by the ill and corrupt representation of the Idoma people by David Mark at the National Assembly.

The activist Comrade said the administration of President Muhammed Buhari is strengthening the Judicial system to be truly independent and to discharge their duty without fear or favour regardless of the status of any individual in the country. And that the Judiciary is the last hope of the common people of Idoma, Benue and Nigeria at large.

He said the APC change mantra as exemplified by the administration of the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom who has zero tolerance for electoral malpractices and corruption, hence the 'change' to positivity has come to stay in Benue and Nigeria. He reiterated that he prefer death to impartial freedom as freedom must be absolute for all mankind!

The former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students-NANS and West African Student Union-WASU opposed to the rumour making rounds that the Tiv majority tribe of Benue State are using him to unseat Mark. He cited instances where lack of infrastructural development and Social amenities under the watch of David Mark were not implemented as never the makings of the Tiv people but the corrupt leadership style of the former senate President against idoma land and idoma people.

He said rather Mark's selfishness and ill-representation of Idoma people has created a big divides in the State and among the Idoma people, hence the various political factions that has risen in Benue South. He said if elected, no body would stop him from giving Idoma people the much emancipation needed as he has lived all his life fighting for Students' and people's freedom; as such he is poised to give a selfless service and dedication to his Father land.

He charged the electorates not to be afraid in carrying out their civic responsibilities of voting for him who represent a true change come February 2016. He sang a song of thanksgiving to God Almighty in anticipation for his victory at the poll.
