St Johns Anglican College Otukpo Wins NAIS Secondary Schools Debate

St Johns Anglican College emerged winners of the maiden NAIS Secondary Schools debate which was held at Diggs Event Center Otukpo Benue state on the 11th of November 2016.

The Finals was between Living Stone Academy and St Johns after all the rounds of very articulating arguments. St John Came out victorious by a very slim lead.

 Dignitaries who attended the Grand finally Include Benue state Deputy Governor Chief Engr Benson Abounu represented by his chief of Staff Hon Adah Ikwom, former Presidents of NAIS, NAIS National President, Comr Idoko Ahmedu Idoko, Former Ward Counselors, top Government Officials, Comr Oketa Omakwu, NAIS  National Vice President Comr Goodman Agada, NAIS Senate President. Rt Comr Onoja and many more.

In his remarks the Host and National Director of Socials NAIS Comr Acha John Godwin appriciated the Students and teachers for turning up in their Large numbers and spoke to them on issues of cultism, tribal segregation, and other social vices.

The Deputy Governor who was represented by Hon Adah Ikwom was given an award of Excellence and in turn he urged the students to be focused in archiving their dreams as this administration will leave no stone unturn in making sure Benue State becomes a citadel of educational excellence.

The president of the association Comr Idoko Amedu Idoko also charged students and the general public to be security conscious as the level of insucurity in the state is gradually coming back to normal.
He also used the medium to invite the public to Her Security Symposium scheduled to hold on 19th of Nov 2016 at Diggs Event Center Otukpo Benue State.
