ORTOM CALLS FOR HARMONY AND LOVE AT EASTER

As the world celebrates this year's Easter, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom urges the people of the state to eschew bitterness, continue to embrace peace and show love to one another as Christ Jesus taught his followers.

Governor Ortom says the death and resurrection of Jesus as demonstrated during the Easter period is meant to draw the people closer to God so they can appreciate His abundant grace and mercy upon their lives.

He believes that it is only when the people live in harmony with others and are willing to help in building a crime-free society that the government's efforts of providing development and improved standard of living can fully be achieved.

The Governor is confident that the current economic and security challenges will soon be overcome and the people of the state will reap greater value from the change for which they voted.

He reaffirms that the ongoing transformation in health, education, agriculture and infrastructure sectors will be sustained for the benefit of all.

Governor Ortom wishes every Benue person, home and abroad, joyful Easter celebration.

Terver Akase Chief Press Secretary April 15, 2017.
