Police Rescues Benue Family From Kidnappers


Two of the occupants of a Sienna car kidnapped along 9th Mile expressway, Enugu State during the weekend have been rescued.


The two victims, 22-year-old Kate Oibe and Samuel Oibe,13, were rescued by the Enugu State Police Command on Monday afternoon.

The two occupants, who were traveling on a Toyota Sienna belonging to Nezam Transport Company, alongside 6 other persons from Lagos to Otukpo in Benue were kidnapped on Saturday.

DAILY POST on Monday morning reported that the criminal made a demand of N20 million to the Benue family for their children to be released.

They have now been rescued by the police and current at the Enugu State Command headquarters.
